The season for sweater weather, pumpkin carvings, endless festivals, and colorful leaves has come! With the changing season comes time to transition our summer wardrobes for fall. Here are some ways you can incorporate your geek style into creating chic outfits you can wear on-the-go. I like to wear my geek-styled outfits PROUD AND OUT LOUD.

Totoro Statement Jacket

Use a statement piece as the highlight of your outfit. A light jacket is perfect for fall. In the U.S., it’s hard to find high quality Studio Ghibli items. I either had to order it online or settle for low-quality graphic tees from certain stores at the mall. That’s why I was so happy when I discovered BoxLunch at Grapevine Mall in Dallas. They have multiple locations across the U.S., and they sell high quality geeky items! This is where I found my embroidered Totoro jacket. I styled it with a white t-shirt from H&M, blue jeans and black boots.

Avatar The Last Airbender Graphic Tee

Use any of your geek-chic graphic tees to create a unique style! For this outfit, I chose to wear a jeans jacket over my Aang graphic tee, (a blazer could work too). I wore my high-wasted strawberry shorts, topped off with a red, cat-ear hat to match the red strawberries. I’m a Waterbender at heart, so I accessorized with my MoonGlow necklace, and golden necklace because it reminded me of the way Waterbenders draw their power from the moon. Fun fact! My MoonGlow necklace shows the phase of the moon that occurred on the day of my birth.

Gryffindor Scarf

What better way to stay warm during the dropping temperatures of fall than with a Gryffindor scarf? I bought this as a souvenir from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which makes it feel all the more magical. I simply threw it over a comfy sweater that I got from H&M.

Phineas & Ferb casual cosplay with simple blouse

Hey, where’s Perry? Turn a cute blouse into a casual cosplay. This pumpkin-colored striped shirt reminded me of Phineas’s outfit. I rolled up my jeans since Phineas usually wears shorts, accessorized with white-laced shoes and a chic Fossil watch.
