Austin-based entertainment company Rooster Teeth puts on the annual three-day convention RTX to celebrate animation, comedy, gaming, and internet culture. RTX 2019 took place last weekend from July 5-7. Rooster Teeth is known for creating some of the most popular online series, such as Red vs. Blue and RWBY. I’ve attended RTX in the past, but this year, I had the pleasure of representing Geek Gals at the event!

I enjoyed many panels and podcasts, but my favorite part of RTX was the exhibit hall. Not only did I get the chance to see merchandise and art that people made just for the event, but I also got to see cosplayers gathered in one area, striking a pose for pictures and sharing how they made their costume.
Half of the exhibition hall seemed to focus on gaming. As a gamer, I decided to scope out some video game cosplays. From Zelda to Spyro to Overwatch, the ones I saw did not disappoint! People of all ages participated, and it warmed my heart to see so many people as passionate about gaming as I am. Enjoy some of my photos from the weekend below!
