Panels
The stars
We attended most of the Con of Thrones panels in the main hall A1 with the guests. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jerome Flynn, Hannah Murray, and Miltos Yerolemou were all such a delight.
We didn’t forget The Wolf and the Crows!
We also got to see the extras! Those who have watched Jeanie Finlay’s Game of Thrones documentary, Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, know that the film focused on the departments behind-the-scenes: hair and makeup, special effects, stunt fighting, and… extras! Finlay followed around Andrew McClay, AKA Andy the Extra, who instantly became one of the most popular extras with the Game of Thrones fandom.
Con of Thrones fan-goers raised money to help Mischief Management bring Andrew McClay, Bobby Marno, and Brendan “Hammer” McGivern to the con. McClay, Marno, and McGivern make up The Wolf and the Crows. Having attended two of their panels, as well as seeing them participate in Game Night, they were HILARIOUS. I really hope Mischief Management can bring them back next year and every year after that.
Game Night
Every year, Mischief Management holds a Family Feud-style game night. Two teams consisting of a few guests, panelists, moderators, and fans face off.
Cosplay
Our summary doesn’t do the cosplayers from Con of Thrones justice. But the photos we have gives you a snippet of the dedication, passion, and hard work that Game of Thrones geeks put into their cosplay.
