I’m not gonna lie but I had NO FREAKING IDEA that Tom Felton played music. I watched him be the annoying nemesis Draco Malfoy to Harry Potter growing up and that was pretty much all I knew about Felton’s career.
When I saw on the LeakyCon 2019 Dallas schedule that Tom Felton was not only doing a panel but also a concert, I was intrigued. I didn’t bother Googling, because I figured I would treat myself to a surprise. And boy was I delighted! I loved watching Felton strum familiar and original tunes.
Mischief Management brought Tom Felton to Dallas and I’m so happy that they did. Even after LeakyCon is over (for now, anyways! If you’re in Boston or Orlando, there’s going to be a LeakyCon soon for y’all), I find myself humming to the songs I heard Felton perform. Indeed, this Tom Felton concert was one of my top highlights of LeakyCon 2019. I’m not proficient in reviewing music and concerts, so my words won’t do much justice to describe the concert.

“You’ve Got A Friend In D”
One of the cover songs that Felton performed was the famous Toy Story song “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” except he swapped out “me” for “D.” This song introduced his buddy Derek Pitts afterward. Pitts joined Felton on stage about halfway through the concert to play guitar together.
