New York Comic Con 2018 just ended. The four fun-packed days brought a chock full of events that anyone could enjoy. This year the convention also brought back Anime Fest to cater to guests that were more interested in that. Either way, the convention had a whole featured comics, art, gaming, anime, cosplay and a multitude of great entertainment guests.

The con was said to draw around a quarter of a million people from all over the world and it certainly felt like it! The entirety of the venue was packed full of people at all points of the day. It made it hard to get around and there were times that it was hard to navigate. However, the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all the happenings of the con. Waiting for panels was definitely a challenge due to the sheer amount of people lining up but like I mentioned in the How To Make Friends at Conventions article, time passed quickly since it was easy to talk to like-minded fans.

Panels

This year I was able to get in to the Voltron Legendary Defenders panel, which actually took place in an off site theatre.  This was also the last convention that the Voltron cast is attending. I also attended The Dragon Prince panel where they announced their second season that is planned to air on Netflix next year.

The dealers room and artist alley were both great this year as well. Dealers featured booths set up by Square Enix where you were able to play games like the new Tomb Raider as well as Kingdom Hearts demos. There was also an Overwatch booth where you were able to take 360 degree video of yourself on a payload. There was a photo booth with multiple sections promoting the new She-Ra series and much more. Artist alley centered around a lot and original and fan artist with incredible content.

Overall the con was a great experience as always. The photo gallery is a little sneak peak into the happenings inside the convention from booths to figures to cosplay.

If you attended NYCC, let us know what your favorite thing about the convention was.
