British actress Scarlett Byrne returned to Mischief Management‘s annual Harry Potter fan convention LeakyCon. The convention took place in Dallas again this year–back by popular demand!–on Aug. 9-11.

Byrne portrayed Pansy Parkinson in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. In recent years, Byrne took on roles in genre TV shows Falling Skies and The Vampire Diaries. She was part of the “Hogwarts Students” panel that took place on Saturday Aug. 10 with fellow guests and former co-stars Tom Felton, Afshan Azad, Georgina Leonidas, and Tiana Benjamin.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Scarlett Byrne this year. During our interview, Byrne talked about how she identified as Slytherin but needed to re-take the Pottermore test again. She talked about her time on the Harry Potter films and other fandoms she loves.
